Unhappy not able to download update code 101

I am having trouble downloading the update. It takes forever and then give me an error code 101.

Any suggestions.

If you get error codes you can go to www.entourageedge.com/support and enter error xx. In this case it's talking about Adobe and registration.

So, are you saying that I have to register before I can dowload the update?

You do not need to register in order to get updates, the eDGe was designed so that you can update the device without it being registered. As for the update.... I just sent you a private message with an alternate way to update the device, unfortunately we are all out of the office right now but hopefully this helps.

Code 101 - The software update has failed due to a network connection problem. Check your network settings and try again. This is not an Adobe issue.

Thanks all,

I will have a further look at the network connection tomorrow. It's just that the connection info was telling me all was 'good'. In the mean time done's pm solved the problem... and it was fast... providing it really worked... I pm'd you about this 'done'. I'm very new to android, and don't trust my interpretation of what I'm reading.

As it turns out, I think my problems were largely due to this, though I didn't always have the message. I have a lot of interference happening. My connection drops and the eDGe reconnects, rather quickly, to a 'friendly' neighbour I'm thinking I will get a usb/ethernet adapter and do hardwired updates in the future.

i do get 101 error as well. my network is stable and i can browse perfectly. can you help?

Please help me too.I've been trying to update all night.I have the ethernet adapter,and my internet is stable,but nothing happens.Not even an error message

No,I haven't updated at all.I just recieved my Entourage this monday.I followed the instructions but nothing happened

Sorry to disappoint you,but that's exactly what i did 3-4 times very carefully.I see a small arrow pointing downwards to a small line at the left top of the screen,but although i waited for hours,i didn't see any notification bar at the top of the screen.Anyway,i'll give it another try.
