Accessories Hooking up a projector

Does anyone know if any of the USB to VGA dongles would work on the eDGe?

I'm doing some training in about a month and would love to have the eDGe serve up the PowerPoint slides thus freeing up my work laptop?

Currently the eDGe does not support video output to an external device, such as a projector or monitor. This may be available in a future software update.

I haven't been able to find any working example on the web. So, I'm thinking this is not possible just yet.
I found this (very long) thread about adding this kind of USB functionality to Android:

If you want to display steel images -- there's no problem. You can use wifi or usb connection to stream images to external devices.

But if you want to stream video -- there's no way to do so, 'cos seems that eDGe usb thrououtput is about 10mb\s and wifi to 5mb\s. Very small speed. Also I suspect that there's no hardware video optimisation or buggy display\videocard drivers which also slow down eDGe while watching video.

The Dingo 1.0 release claims support for it which is due out on 8-31-10
