XO Skins on the E Ink side

Anyone install a XO Skin screen protector on the E Ink side? I bought the dual pack and installed it on the LCD and love it. Just a bit concerned about added glare or anything else on the E Ink side.

Its been over 48 hours and I still have a few spots left on the LCD side like some of the things that go away over the first 48 hrs.

I have XO installed on both screens and have noticed no glare on the eInk side. Admittedly, I don't use that side very much. I love, love the LCD side w/eReader and CoolReader apps.

A thing I found quite amazing was when installing on the eInk side I was quite sloppy because the LCD side went so smoothly, easily and perfectly. There was two bubbles, one medium sized and one large. By the time I decided to act on them it was too late. The smaller went away in about a week, the larger (it was LARGE) is now (over two weeks later) practically indiscernible unless you know it's there and ferret it out. I was surprised and needless to say, pleased.

There was a post about these protectors over on the official forums, they said that while the e-ink side did get a little more glossy, it wasn't too bad(and probably preferable to any scratches that might occur). I was planning on buying the set sometime soon, they looked really nice.

I like the one on the LCD side has a slightly sticky feel that gives good tactile feed back hopefully the little sports that are still there work themselves out eventually nothing dire just a little annoying.

I bought a set for my EE that didn't arrive.

Can't decide whether to cut that up for my PE or save it -- in case I do get an EE -- and buy a new set for the PE. I have screen protectors on my PE now and they're okay, but I like the quality and feel of the XOs better.

I have the Pocket Edge Screen Protectors from xoskins on both sides and they look great. The hide fingerprints and stop scratches. their stuff is by far the best.

I use eyeglass cleaner (I have glasses) and a soft cleaning cloth. However, the XO skins are pretty durable and could probably stand up to glass cleaner and a soft paper towel.

So, how well do these "fill in 95% of existing scratches?" I have (quite) a few on my LCD from using the stylus (which I am convinced has a microscopic barb somewhere on it) for Graffiti and scrolling. I had sort of figured "why bother" with protection at this point, but if their claims are true... I might have to ask Santa for a set of these.

They do kind of fill in the scratches making them less noticeable. However, any deep scratches will still show through, just not as bad. The problem with the stylus is over time the tip becomes like a sharpened pencil. Be advised the XO skins are a little pricey. One hint. I only bought the XO skin for the LCD side and they sent me an entire kit anyway. Not sure if this was a mistake or the norm.

I just ordered a complete set for my PE (XO skins). I have another protector on there (both sides) that is getting scratched, whereas the XO skins on my EE don't scratch, and by now I am used to their slight shininess and sponginess (compared to the cheap ones on my PE).

. . . a little Christmas present to myself.
