A newbie!

Just got my Kindle 3 wifi a couple of days ago -and have re-discovered the joy of actually reading. I still love Audiobooks, but really enjoyed reading until the text size became more of a challenge. Not blind, mind you, but my eyesight has deteriorated to the point that bifocals are needed and the small 'normal' book font size was causing a bit of eye strain.
My wife got me the Kindle, and I'm really enjoying it.
I'm a biker in my 40s, my hobby is homebrewing beer.

Hey thanks! Yes, I've seen it -what I really wanted to do, Amazon won't let me (more accurately, the warranty wont -but when it expires all bets are off) which is to put my own images on the screensaver -maybe the cover of the current book for instance) -though from what I've gathered, nobody has broken the latest update yet but I have faith

Yeah, I really love reading, homebrew, and big bikes (not always in that order) -thankfully I have a very tolerant and loving wife
