I tried to google it, but found nothing apart that page. And they are at version 4.1 and nobody ever mentioned their project?

It is a big scam. It is just duokan with english enabled GUI and they are asking money for it.

Confirming too, Duokan in mostly English.
Downloaded Duokan and Kindle OS X and compared side by side so to speak.

Yeah - they tried to spam my blog as well...

I honestly don't think that these guys are going to last:
1) They infringed on two trademarks at the same time: "Kindle" and "OS X". Want to be who will come after them first Amazon or Apple?

2) They are violating Kindle EULA and charging money for it. Another reason for Amazon to come after them.

Would be nice to move this thread to main Kindle forum so that more people would be aware of this scam.

Regarding the keywords, you can change the OS name anytime. The fact that they are not selling a software and the customers are paying for the hosting of a file (or redirection service to a public file) so essentially kindleos.com is the US version of doukan with support
