That *is* a good deal. It's been ~$10 or more at B&N for months.

I don't think this edition is legit, as seems to always be the case when the publisher is not listed. The Rosetta Books edition is still free at thecopia.com ($6.29 @amazon).

Well, crumbs. I didn't think of that (that it might not be a legal copy) until I'd already purchased it.

What does Amazon do in these cases? Delete the listing, yank the title, and refund the buyers?

They will let you keep it (but may not pay the publisher).

Or, you can ask for a refund (and report the copyright violation, if it is truly still in copyright in your country) and it will be removed from your library.

You can also just download it online, if you don't mind formatting it yourself (I think it is broken out by chapter, the one place I saw it listed).

It certainly is in the US (until 2018), the UK (until 2034) and Canada (until 2014), I think it's 2034 for Australia too. Not sure about elsewhere.

I think it likely is, everywhere. But, I don't try to keep up with international dates.

The web site hosting it also has several of his other works, all in full text. Odd the estate hasn't tried to shut them down.
