Changeable justification in Kindle3

Hi.

I'm trying to convert rft to mobi and i would like to have possibility to change justification from Kindle 3 menu (now i'm getting full justification and is not changeable).
Is there a way to make mobi file where this is possible no matter what justification was used in source file?

Not as far as I know. However, this is really a Kindle question about what the Kindle firmware allows (and not a Calibre one) so it might be worth asking the question in the Kindle specific forum.

Ok, i found a solution.

If you want Kindle to manage justification you have to convert e-book to html, edit it and make sure that paragraphs that has to be justified are <p class="calibre4"> </p>.
Maybe not olny 'calibre4' works ok, but i dont know where to find specific class properities that Calibre uses when converting.
When html is prepared you can convert it to mobi (Option 'Look and feel>Text justification' set to 'Original') and "Justification" option in Kindle 3 menu (which is not visible by default) will work perfectly.

The CSS class will b different for every book. The CSS classes are all containedin the .css file.

To re state User_None's answer

The Calibre-number is not a known standard assignment. It can vary with every book. Examination of the pages and then CSS, is the only sure-fire method.

If you happen to convert from TXT, you probably will see the same assignments very frequently. But still check

In the conversion options under look & feel there is an option to control justification. Try original or left, it might do the trick.

Yeah, i was wrong about 'calibre4' class. I thinked that .css file is global for all ebooks.
Now, i was trying diferent things and still i dont have good solution. Properities that works in one ebook doesnt work with another.
I was trying with css class properities and with diferent options in Calibre convert option and with every book result can be diferent.
Only way is to try individual options with every converted book, but i still got ebooks with i cant find a way to make them work as i want - justification just dont work and i dont have idea how to change this.

As I understand it, if justification is specified in the ebook, the Kindle won't allow you to override it. However, I believe that the K3 requires a kind of hack to show the justification option. I recently saw a post about it on the Amazon Kindle board, I think.
