Drop Down menu for similar books

I have just switched from Windows to OSX and I am not getting one of the features I used a lot in Adding books to Calibre. I windows on the main GUI screen I could right click a line and get a short drop down menu that amongst other things conducted a search for similar books by author series etc.

I cannot find the same option on the mac. Am I unlucky or am I missing some way to turn this on, since right click does nothing here

Are you using a trackpad?

If so, open System Preferences|Trackpad, enable Secondary Click. This simulates right-clicking with a mouse.

In calibre Preferences -> Toolbars. There are a number of different toolbar, menubar, context menus to choose from. You can change what you want to display in each. Double check that option is added to your context menu.

Try ctrl+left click instead of right click.

Thank you all

problem solved in 3 different ways

Control Left click did it

the various toolbars also allowed me to add the similar books command to the main menu

i then found in the Mac preferences that although the secondary mouse click was shown as right click the box itself was not ticked and enabled
