Error in Calibre as I connect my Kindle

2 versions ago I suddenly started getting this error whenever I hooked up my kindle to Calibre:

ERROR: Unhandled exception: <b>ValueError</b>:too many values to unpack

ValueError: too many values to unpack

I'm still able to upload books to the Kindle, but it no longer shows what books are on the Device and I can no longer use the Kindle Collections Plugin

ERROR: Kindle Collections: Calibre has not finished loading data from the Kindle.<P>Please wait until the Jobs indicator shows 0 jobs running.<P>

And yes no job are running

I would rather not have to default my kindle as I've finally gotten everything the way I want it

The tweak 'sort_columns_at_startup' has an invalid value in it. In particular, one of the (column, order) pairs has more than two values in it.
