It's irritating that active content appears to only be available to people in the US at present. I do hope this changes eventually.

I'm wondering this as well. It seems a little bizarre that active content is restricted to the US since there shouldn't be publisher restrictions.

I think the Notepad guy mentioned it was a matter of cost/delivery by Amazon on Active Content.

should contain links to categorize in terms of price(for example:free, 0.99$, others) also (games, other apps),... this could be provided by some links in the pages. it need not to be a permanent categorization.

Its pretty much another name for apps. While Kindle does have a web browser that supports ajax, apps are more optimized for slow eInk screen and make their respective tasks a whole lot easier.
