Opera's Medium-Screen Rendering (MSR)

According to a Opera press release, there will be soon a new technology called Medium-Screen Rendering (MSR) which squeezes content to fit PDA screens, without having to resort to horizontal scrolling or zooming. Products that include MSR will be announced in the near future. Doesn't that sounds nice?

Not sure since there is no product using MSR out yet. Note that the release note mentions "landscape mode" in particular, though that doesn't necessarily mean that non-landscape devices do not work with it.
