Sony E-Reader Software Problems

Hi!
I have had a 350-PRS for almost a year and it has worked flawlessly - until about a month ago. For no reason I can guess, when you open it is says "invalid error". It will not show any books in the library, in fact it will not even open the library. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice. Spent an hour on the phone with Sony support - he really tried but had no clue what to do. Does anyone know what I can do?
I sure would appreciate any advice.
Thanks
Mike

Try the info in this thread, it's what fixed my issues up. Mostly deleting all the database files was what did it in my case, it seems it can get corrupt easily.

Are you talking the PRS-350 itself or the Reader software on your computer?

I had issues with the reader software on the computer and went into Documents and Settings and deleted the folders called KINOMA

They are in a couple of places.

Kinoma

Thanks for the advice. Can't find kinoma file in any search. Any advice? I'm an old fart and sometimes can't figure things out!
Thanks

The kinoma folder is hidden. If you are using Windows, instructions for revealing hidden files is at Sony eSupport.
