Organization Questions
One of the things that I liked about my Classic Nook (rooted), is that when I loaded books onto it if there was a series, it put the series in front of the title, so when you browsed, the series books came first.
With the Nook Color that doesn't seem to be the case. It seems to be just Alphabetically. If I create a shelf will it do that, or will it just sort automatically as well. I don't know why, but this really irritates me. |

The organization irritates the heck out of me too.
As far as I could tell the only reasonable way to organise my ebooks were to build shelves for each author - series and number the books in the title (for series order). It's a time consuming process when you are trying to organize hundred of books, made worse that the shelves can be lost with a reset or something. Unless things have changed with the new release, (I don't think so as nothing is mentioned that I could see). This is one of the main reasons I rooted my nook color and use Moon Reader, I can organize the ebooks with Calibre tags that way and not loose them at a drop of a hat. I quite liked the stock reader for reading on, however. |

I just started changing the titles, I tried to root and just didn't like it at all. Moon+ was terrible for me with the formatting and covers, and Aldiko wasn't doing it for me on the device, I'll just keep that one for my phone.

I hated Moon Reader when I first tried it too. It does grow on you after awhile and you sort out the different customization.

I may give some more a shot when/if there is an AutoNooter for the 1.2 firmware.
I went back to stock after the poor experience I had with CYM7 |
