Kobo Colors only online @ $139.00?
Subject line is my question. It seems that the Borders stores I have been to only have the black Kobo @ $99.00 and to get a colored one (lavender, etal) I have to pay the higher online price of $139.
Is this correct or am I missing something? Thanks for reading. |

The original kobo came in only black and white - and would be priced around the amount you've seen the black one for.
The WIFI Kobos come in black, white, lilac etc. And they'd cost more. |

Black wi-fi at Borders is $99. Silver wi-fi at kobo is $139. That's the only two options I see tonight online.

Well I ended up getting the black Kobo after work today since the colors mos def cost more. I'll just skin my Kobo if I want to change the color.
I emailed Borders and Kobo for some clarification on models and prices but decided not to wait for their response. I said I would not get another reader, but when I saw how crisp thee screen was on the Kobo on display at Best By this past weekend ... well it kept gnawing at me. Weak one that I am I made the purchase today. I am off to bed while my new aquisition will be charging over night. Thanks for the replies. |

Borders may be out of the non-black. They have had them online with the same price as the black ones. (I almost bought a lavender one a few weeks ago from Borders online but then the $79 refurb Nooks appeared.)

All our Borders are closed in Georgia. I got my Kobo for $60 before they ran out and all of them were black/wi-fis. I don't remember seeing anything but the black or white/blue knob in the stores.

Walmart online now has clearance sale of Kobo. They have the white ones. $99.98
