zombie books

Any zombie book suggestions? Please no books in journal or interview format or written in first person, I just can't stand them

There are not many real suggestions in that thread, and most of them are in a journal format, which, as I noticed, has become a cliche for zombie fiction

Since I share that aversion, I'll throw out a few for you.

Mort (by Rod Redux) - great story but a little sick and twisted

Zombie Betrayal (Robert Decoteau) - very short but interesting

The Last Mailman - one of my favorites, but it vanished from sales recently (?)

Eaters: The Beginning (Michele DePape) - classic zombie tale, short story

Extinction Theory (Lee Emerick) - different twist on the infection type

Last, but not least, my work--Zombified--which is available from Amazon and Smashwords (links in signature).

All of the above are 3rd person without journal entries or other stylized methods of writing.

Enjoy!

Monster Island

The Morningstar Strain saga

Dying to Live

Down the road and Down the road: On the last day

Those aren't in journal/diary format. And, I rather enjoy them all.

The Autumn Series By David Moody is excellent. I have read the first 2 and am waiting for the next in the series.
