changing appearance on an older calibre
suspect I may have looked past the answer but I'm having a little trouble:
- calibre 0.6.28 bin pkg/linux (don't want to update glib) - I use e17 so don't have any qt/kde libs installed (or gnome for that matter) what I'm wondering, can I change the appearance of this rev calibre if I install qt*-config? I installed the deps for qt3-config and while I can add themes to it, it doesn't appear to have any effect on calibre (or perhaps by not being a kde/qt user I just don't know how to make it do something). then I noticed in the calibre dir multiple "*qt4*" files so presumably I need qt4-config? but before trying to get it and its many more deps installed, am I wasting my time doing this? my wm/gtk themes are dark so the white calibre window is like staring at headlights on my monitor ![]() so I'd like to be able to tone it down some by making the calibre gui a bit darker - would that happen with either qt4-config or possibly something else? |
