ISBN - to normalize

Hello !

Calibre collection have ISBNs like below
978-0-307-42468-6 (e ISBN)
978-1-84064-454-8
978 0 7181 1659 1
9781840644548
9780553589597

i think the good idea to normalize all isbns as 978-0-307-48912-8 and 978-1-84064-454-8, is it ? (my library have only English books, 978-0- or 978-1- should be...)

please advice, how can i do that by Edit metadata by bulk ?

ISBN-10: the only solid things in the pattern is the Language digit and the check_digit and total length.
Language-Publisher-book_number-checkdigit
There are 1 digit Publishers, and 1 digit book_numbers and all combinations in between that total 8 digits.

spaces or dashes are for HUMANS


There are no dashes ever in ISBN-13 (it is a EAN code)
