Sigil and epub (can I delete empty chapters?)

Here is my SOB story....

I am a POOR writer and I cannot afford to convert my works over to epub to meet APPLE standards. So, I learned conversions myself and spent 18 hours trying to fix it only to end in frustration. Some ANGEL had pity on me and corrected my mistakes (he would be fired if they knew) and gave it back to me. So, I use his epub template for the rest of my books.

All I do is go into SIGIL and cut and paste the text into the areas needed.

I NOW HAVE A PROBLEM...

all the books have the same amount of chapters. So, it has not been a problem with cutting and pasting and formatting.

However, this new e-book has four (4) less chapters.

So, in Sigil,,,how do I delete unused chapters? Can I delete unused chapters? if not in sigil, is there another program that will do it. I have Calibre too.

Highlight the file in the book browser, right click: select Delete.
Gone. Save the book. Dode

Um, don't be angry because:

1) You're my new hero
2) It was a book series by region..so that is why they all had 13 chapters.

Maybe I misunderstood.
This WAS NOT some inappropriate editorial requirement by a 'content reseller' (as opposed to a Publisher/Author)?
