Thanks to the wonderful information on this forum and elsewhere on the web, I have decided on the Sony PRS 350. Saving up for the actual reader... but am embarrassed to admit that I have already bought a slipcover off Etsy...

I'm currently researching where I can find for free / buy the books I want to read - interested in psychology, parenting, biographies, and I enjoy mysteries but have given up reading fiction for Lent!

The best price that I have been able to find on the Sony PRS-350SC is at, oddly enough, Amazon Marketplace for $159 or 112 euros (conversions by xe.com). For free books try gutenberg.com and overdrive.com. Hopefully more forum members will be along shortly that know more about free books then I do, I am rather a beginner in that area.

Thanks for the welcome and the shopping tip... I hadn't thought about searching Amazon for a Sony reader. How ironic! Off to do more searching...

Free books can be sourced, legally, from many places - the ones here, for instance, >> Patricia Clark Memorial Library are superior in format to those directly from Gutenburg.
