new kobo - calibre not recognizing it

new kobo plugged in to PC & charging. I cans see it as a drive in windows 7 and have installed the KObo software up the point where it wants me to create an account. I can see all the free books n stuff on Kobo so all seems good at that end.

but calibre 7.50 is unaware that a kobo device is connected - how do I get past this roadblock please ?

ok i fixed it - calibre - preferences - plugins - device interface plugins - - click the greyed out kobo plugin - quit & restart calibre.
