Oprah Book Club Selections?
Does anyone know how Oprah makes book selections for her show? I've heard she uses scouts to be on the lookout for "Oprah-ish" books. But lately her books have been so eclectic, I doubt that's the case. Janice Daugharty--

I once read that she picks the books from books she reads. She is an avid reader with wide taste. Supposedly she buys the books online or at a local bookstore, reads them, and then if one strikes her, selects it for her book club.
