chinese dictionary, character entry

Hi!

I looked through a few pages, but couldnt find a topic like this. I have a question about using an e-reader instead of an electronic dictionary for chinese. I need it since my work requires me to translate chinese texts to english, and i think that getting an e-ink reader would be better for my eyes. Is it possible to use any of them just like a dictionary? for instance, i am reading a chinese book, and there's a word I dont understand, can I draw on the screen, enter the character and it translates the word?

also, i would like to be able to add ancient chinese to modern chinese dictionary... is there an ereader that would allow to add dictionaries?

I hope im not babling too much

i typically use my electronic dictionary when i translate. but if the text is on the computer, then i use online dictionaries.

i wish there was an app like that, though! or some sort of kindle active content

These features definitely aren't in the e-readers designed for English speakers. I would look into the Hanvon e-readers sold in China. I think there should at least be a dictionary, although I don't know about the other features.
