New Kindle user

Hello! I borrowed a Kindle for 1 week and fell in love with it. Now I am awaiting my own from Amazon. Just wanted to say "Hi" and test my posting settings.

Make sure that you make use of the unique features of the Kindle, if you don't you might have simply bought a Kobo for probably $40 less and not gotten those features, these features are:

1) The search function - allows you to search for a particular phrase in any book on the unit;
2) Personalization - you can put your name in your Kindle, I can't.
3) Avaailability - Let's face it Amazon has eveything, try getting the oddball books you can do that I can't.

I will. :-)

The only downside of the Kindle is the lack of the decent Bible reading app/book (Navigate/jump to text by book names etc). I hope it will change.

Hi. I am wanting a Kindle myself. Right now I am enjoying ebooks on Kindle for PC.
Congrats on your new ereader. I hear it is the best.

Thank you again to everyone for warm welcome. I finished 'Lord of Flies' yesterday. Today I figured out how to make Instapaper working with Kindle. Awesome! :-)
