problem adding complex html file
I got a iOS Reference Library docSet from: http://developer.apple.com/rss/com.a...iPhone4_0.atom
And tried adding the documentation/General/Conceptual sub-directory to Calibre (to convert to a mobi format for storing in a Kindle), but it processed for long time without response. I tried adding 1 single html file Singleton.html (attached) in this directory to Calibre. It processed for a long time and generated a 80M .zip file for this 12k html file, and the .zip file cannot be opened. Is Calibre able to handle complex html file? Or is there any other software which has better support for complex html file? |

If it's running it's working. Complex files will take more time to process than simple ones. Just let it run until it completes. Some users have been known to have days processing highly complex files.
Any linked files will be included when generating a zip. The links in the file will be followed and I believe links in those files will be followed as well. So just adding the Singleton.html file will could cause the entire manual to be included in the archive. |
