What happened to epup conversion?

I use Sigil to set the chapter breaks, TOC, etc. and save as epub. Then I open it in Calibre. I used to be able to just set the base font size to 10 and do a epub to epub conversion and the cover and metadata would be added and I'd get a real nice looking epub.

After this last Calibre update, it now puts spaces between all the paragraphs and left-justifies everything. Takes the paragraph indentions out also.

Obviously I have to start messing with settings, but I'm not sure which ones.

Very frustrating...

You are presumably working with html generated from Microsoft Word. Save the HTMl as web page (filtered) in Word, or wait for the next release

Yes, but I do save it as Web Page (filtered). Always have. Why would I get different results now?

Because some code was added to remove some of the invalid css generated by Word. A bug in that code caused the removal of some non-invalid css as well.
