PRS-650 Problem with epub and Sony 650

OK, I've have a problem with epub and my 650. I've downloaded some books in epub format into my library. But I can't transfer them from the library into my reader.

Any suggestions what I'm doing wrong. I'm trying to drag them from the library into the reader (SD card) but the status symbol just keeps on-a twirling. When I click on it all I get is "processing". I've left it for 1/2 hour and it never seems to complete the transfer.

I've redownloaded the book but still the same thing.

Could you be as specific as you can as to how you are trying to do it? Are you using Windows, or OSX, Ubuntu etc. Are you trying to add the files to the reader SD card directly rather than through Sony software. Have you tried adding them a different way or to the main memory of the reader? Finally the only other thing I can think of is write protect on the SD card?

and where did you get the epub document? are you sure it has compatible DRM to the Sony? (i.e. if you got the book from B&N, it won't work on the Sony.)

I had the same problem. I had a Sony 600 and just got the 950 for Christmas. I was trying to download a book from the reader library onto my new ereader. The status just kept showing processing, but nothing was happening. I realized that I had not saved the epub. I had mistakenly just opened the file, then used the reader library to open it. So, what I had was just a temp file. When I tried to download the book onto my new reader, the library program said that the file had been moved or deleted. Luckily, I was able to redownload the books onto the computer and do it right this time!! You have to save the file, then open it with the reader library. Maybe you did the same thing?
