Al Jazeera in english

This recipe seems to fetch only a handful of articles whereas other news sources like BBC contain quite a lot. Is this normal?
Open up the recipe and look at the feed with your browser. If you are getting all articles listed in the feed, yes, it's normal. If not, then the recipe may be limiting the number of articles fetched, or the age of the articles.

This still appears to be the case (number of articles: 13 today, and a lot dropped when compared to the webpage.)

Also, no pictures are included.

If anyone could look into that, I'd be grateful

as far as i can see calibre downloads all the articles in the feed. here is a link to the feed:

dont you get all the articles included in the feed?

Hello Kritikka!
If you compare the feed to the webpage, you will see only the top half of the actual AJE side indexed. The category "In Depth" is not featured though. I see they sometimes hold video bits, but find they make good standalone articles. In contrast I could see why the "in Video" or "Program Highlights" are not featured

I have to add that I do not really understand the process of gathering the final ebook, so let me know if I am asking for impossible things!

so you want the article in the "In Depth" section added? I am a little busy right now but I will try to add it in a few days. I do not guarantee success though. I am not sure how to do it, but i will give it a go.
