Update of Kindle iPhoneApp 2.6 kills sync of Non-Amazon books
Hi,

the update of the Kindle iPhoneApp kills the feature to sync non-Amazon books between iPhone and Kindle :-(

Is it possible to fix it with an update of Calibre?

Interesting. In what way does it kill the syncing?

This one is going to be hard to figure out without quite a lot of detective work - and if Amazon is set upon preventing such syncing, in the long run they'll always find a way to disable it.

You sure the folder didn't just get moved when the update was installed? The way the iPhone directories are setup this is possible.

I just removed KindleApp, reinstalled it and added the book from my calibre-library via download. The app doesn't find my actual reading position of my Kindle anymore.

The iphone app now shows "popular highlights" for official amazon books. Maybe they rewrote the whole sync process for that.

For the non-amazon books, the sync option is greyed out. My hunch is that now, the ASIN has to be a official Amazon one for the syncing to work...

Unhappy Kindle for iPhone 2.6 lost sync furthest page read
After Calibre 0.7.45 version, is possible to sync furthest page read of personal document on all Kindle App.

Today I have update iphone Kindle app (2.6) and the feature is lost! Is not possibile to sync personale document on iphone app.

I have tried to set ASIN (ebook ASIN B000FC2PKG ) with mobi2mobi but nothing!!!!
