Back Button in Subscriptions using Firmware 3.1

Hi,

I read in one posting that the back button does not really work well if
you press it to get back from an article to the section. I read that it jumps back to the beginning of the section article list instead of goind back to the position where you left the section view.

Has anyone experiences this effect too? Before I install the new firmware I would like to make sure that I am not ending up with something worse.

I read legal decisions as a subscription on my kindle with very long article lists in the sections. If it would loose my position when going back from an article, it would be very annoying.

Thanks,

Jens

The back button does not work properly for Calibre-generated periodicals. However, it has been reported that for Amazon-generated content the back button works properly. I don't think anyone knows why that is right now, so whether all Amazon subscriptions would support correct operation of the back button is an unanswered question. Unfortunately, you can't revert from 3.1, so you're rolling the dice with the upgrade.

Yes, I experience it too.

What I do is I switch it back to the old section view format by clicking "View Articles List" at the bottom. "Back" button would behave the way it used to afterwards.
