BUG in v. 7.44

Am i right here with my report?
I have just switched back to v. 7.43.
In v. 7.44 what bugs i found is in the "tags" column.
For letter "p" (physik) the roll menu doesn't open at all.
For letter "m" (mathe) although the roll menu opens, and in the list "mathe" can be seen and be chosen, but if i give in the second letter "a" the tag "mathe" disappears from the list.
After giving in a tag in the version 7.44 will not automatically given a comma after that (in order to get the possibility to give in a second tag), you have to put the comma manually.

I don't know if it is correct or not report here, but there is a ticket submision form available at calibre web site. For sure that is the best place to report a bug.

This is not a bug but an intentional change due to lots of complaints from users. I believe that there is likely to be a tweak introduced for those who prefered the old behavior and want it back. It also applies to the & character no longer being added to authors filed.

Very cool. I didn't complain (because I figure I know how to use the backspace key), but am glad I won't have to, to get rid of that comma and ampersand now.

You never had to use the backspace key, simply hitting enter removed any trailing comma or ampersand. The feature simply pre-entered these items for you as a convenience.

I believe there will be a tweak for folks who wish to retain this feature in the next release.

Update: The automatic trailing comma

will be retained, but the automatic ampersand will require a tweak.
