Bulk Convert From

Is there a way to choose a format to bulk convert from? After editing EPUB files, it would be nice to have calibre convert only EPUB files to MOBI.

What you could do is select "epub" from the list* on the left so that only epub books are showing. Then select all those and run your epub to mobi bulk conversion.

*it's under "formats" in the tag browser - if you don't see it, click the little tag icon on the lower-right of the main calibre window.

Go to Preferences - Behavior and adjust the preferred input format order.

The problem is: after I converted books from RTF to EPUB (not bulk convert) > edited the EPUBs > used bulk convert to MOBI, then calibre used RTF to convert to MOBI (even if I unchecked 'Use saved conversion...').

I believe the following should work. Just adjust the input format so epub is higher then rtf and obviously uncheck 'Use saved conversion...'.

I have already set EPUB as the highest. I noticed that when I bulk converted the same books to MOBI again, calibre used EPUB as input format. (So, the first bulk conversion: RTF (or an original format) to MOBI; the second bulk conversion: EPUB to MOBI)
