Stop auto-start of Reader Library

Before, all that was necessary was removing Sony Reader Library from the MSCONFIG startup so that it would NOT automatically start when the ereader is tethered to the USB port.

I have removed Reader Library from MSCONFIG startup on my Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit PC; however, when I plug in my ereader, Sony Reader Library still starts up automatically.

Can anyone suggest how to easily avoid this automatic startup of Reader Library?

Thanks!

At the top of the Sony Reader program, select Edit, Preferences, and uncheck "Launch Reader Library when Reader device is connected".

Since I stopped the program from starting up with windows though, I never have it auto start up though even with that item checked. But I'm on WinXP, might be some quirks with the program between operating systems.

R, Thanks! I'll try your suggestion.

As you say, the Windows control worked with XP Pro. Apparently not the case with Windows 7.
