505 screen broke, haven't kept up...

The screen on my sony 505 got too cold and cracked . I haven't been keeping up on my gadget news, so I'm not too sure which reader I should get.

Needs:

-preferably less than 250 USD
-epub support
-solid build quality
-similar battery life to sony 505

I'm really not too keen on buying a new sony reader, they've screwed me over in the past and I'd rather not give them any more cash.

Thanks guys!

Presumably this is no longer a criterion.

Or he realized that a plastic e-reader can have a solid build quality.

jabyrd3: Enjoy your Kindle. You can also use Calibre to take care of your EPub books. Google Apprentice Alf and you will find instructions in the January blog.

As former president Bill Clinton once said "I feel your pain." The criteria you gave does nto narrow the field much, I think that you need to be a tad mroe picky.
