My iLiad is dead, please help!!!

I just got my iLiad this Friday, and spend the whole weekend playing with it. I put in some books, set up the network connection, and the companion software. Everything seems to be running perfect. But all of sudden when I change the iLiad background connect setting from download content from IDS to Computer and then change it back again from Computer to IDS, the device stops responding, the green light keeps blinking meaning it is busy. Nothing can be done about it.
The device is being charged when this happen. I try to shut donw the device, and it just will not do. It stops response to any operation.
The only thing I have not trie yet is to press the reset button at the back, I'm not sure if I should do it.
Can anyone help?

Go ahead and hit the reset button. It won't hurt anything...Could just be a random bug.

Thanks, Adam. I did it becuase these is nothing elso I can do. Luckily it works. I pressed the reset button for 2 seconds and the green blinking stops. I then shut down the device and restart it.
I now works fine.
