Cannot share by email

Hi - First I should apologise for not knowing which forum catagory to direct my question to - None of them seemed to fit this problem though, sorry!!

I am in Mexico at the moment and I'm using my laptop - I downloaded Calibre, converted my books to the format I need and then tried to email them, just as I had been doing at home on my PC - But, either I've made an error in my settings (although I've been through them over and over to try to find it, without success) or,could it be because my neighbor here is allowing me to use her wifi - I've tried using my own email address to send and I've also tried using my gmail address - Obviously, I really need some help, I just don't know what else to try

You need to give us some clue as to what happens when you try to email the book.

It is bit difficult to try and diagnose your problem from a generic 'it does not work' statement

The question was aimed at the poster who hijacked this thread. You haven't even posted what the problem is in the first place, apart from "it doesn't work".
And your ISP is right, POP3 is for receiving mail, SMTP is for sending it.

Can you tell me how to access the clipboard, then maybe I could send a screenshot of the error I'm getting - I saved it to clipboard but have no idea where to find it - Thank you.

Ah, normally, you should be able to just paste the error in, if it is text information. Ordinarily, Ctrl+V pastes from clipboard.

That looks like a timeout when your computer tries to translate the URL of the domain into an IP address. Can you reach the domain (skyvelocity.ca) in a browser?
