Frustrated With Tech Support
My PB360 started showing lines on the screen, from top to bottom and from one side to the other. So I sent the device back to be repaired. I wrote up what was going on with the device on a piece of paper and included it in the box. I get it back and all it says is "replaced screws, updated firmware, test". Soon as I seen that I was worried. I turned on the device and there was no lines....for all of 20 seconds and the lines showed up.
Im so damn frustrated. They had my PB360 for two weeks. Now I get to go through the process again for no apparent reason other than they didn't bother to read the piece of paper I included in the box explaining what was wrong with it. Or they just ignored it and assumed I was seeing things. FFS! |

They are about to issue the successor of the PB360. Support for 'obsolete' products is dropped about as soon as the concept of the successor takes real shape. At least it looks like that's the way it works at PB.

While I understand the concept of discontinued products. That is no reason for them not to fix or replace my PB360 which is under warranty. I am very interested in the PB360's successor but not if I get this kind of service at their tech support. I mean all someone had to do is read the letter that I sent and stare at the screen for a minute or two. So I end up paying out money to ship this product again, which I shouldnt have to do.

Did you speak with anyone before sending it in? Where are you located?
