Okay, for those who don't know, Instapaper is amazing. For those who do know, but don't know about Wordcycler: it's an awesome program that allows you to keep your Instapaper articles synced to your Kindle (or any other reader) without a problem.
However, a month or so ago, Instapaper updated their site so that your list of unread articles is broken up across multiple pages. Wordcycler doesn't account for this, so it only syncs the first page of unread articles to your Kindle--if you have a large queue, you can only sync a small part of it. The creator of Wordcycler is aware of the problem, but it seems that development is somewhat dormant and he has other projects on the front burner. I love Wordcycler, it does a great job, but I need a program that syncs all my articles. Right now, is there a good alternative to Wordcycler? |

Timmy_B--Nope, same issue. The recipes for both Instapaper and Read It Later max out at about the most recent 20 articles.
kranu--Look a little more closely at Instapaper's support for sending articles. It only sends the most recent 20 articles. As I described in my initial post, Wordcycler's strength was that it synced ALL your articles. (Better yet, the each time it synced your articles, if it detected that a previously transferred article had been deleted from the Kindle, it moved that article from the 'unread' list to the 'archived' list on Instapaper). Now that doesn't work, and Instapaper nor Read It Later support syncing all articles with Kindle. Last edited by nesler; 01-30-2011 at 01:56 AM. |

Instapaper is good but it's annoying that it always names your articles Instapaper x.x.x. Sometimes i want to keep an article on a specific topic but can't rename it or organise it properly.
