Sorry to hear you are having problems

I use the iPhone Kindle app so if it is hopefully similar, can you go to the Archive area in your android app and click on the book you purchased to download it? That's where it should be if it isn't appearing on the main page of the Kindle app.

I use the kindle app on my android phone as well as having a Kindle3. Sometimes when I purchase books through my Kindle, it seems like they don't automatically download to my android phone. I would suggest trying:
1. Go to the Amazon site
2. Log into your account
3. Go to the 'manage your kindle' page.
4. Near the top of the page is a 'Your computer and mobile devices' list. Verify you see both your phone and your PC listed.
4. Scroll down to the bottom to where it says 'Your Orders'
5. Find the book you are interested in and there should be pulldown menu that is titled 'Deliver to ...'. Select your phone, and the book should be sent the next time you open the Kindle app.

Hope this helps,
Duane
