Help!! Can't find an edictionary!!

One reason I wanted a handheld device was to always have access to a dictionary--I just got my Nook and started searching ebooks (it doesn't have to be free) and I can't find one, other than medical, slang and every other subcategory of dictionary. Any suggestions?? I'm looking for an English language dictionary.

I hadn't realized nook has no dictionary? I know Kindle has (at least) one - Sonys have two (U. S. and U. K.) - does Kobo have any?

I know it has to have one--a dictionary is one of the most basic books...

I found this thread regarding the built-in Nook Dictionary:

I haven't yet found any purchasable dictionaries though.

Silly me!! Instead of having a panic attack, I should have looked in the Nook users manuel--there is a Merriam-Webster dictionary built in...
