I am really a novice at the forums and boards and such, so I hope I am doing this in the right place.

My name is Maryann Miller and I am an avid reader, as well as an author. I purchased the new Kindle last October and already have a ton of books in it. I need to stop reading and get back to writing, as I have a deadline looming, but it is so easy to get a new book with the Kindle, then so easy to get caught up in someone else's story.

Anyway, I will be discreet about promoting. If anyone is interested in my books, there is information on my Web site, and I put the link on my profile page.

I look forward to being part of the community, and will check out some of the threads when I get a chance later today.
