Kindle shows different title then Calibre

I have several books where Kindle shows a different title then Calibre. I understand that an eBook can have a "long title" in addition to the regular title. Apparently Kindle will use this long title if it exists. But Calibre does not show this in metadata. How can I change the title that Kindle uses?

convert your book to MOBI in calibre (if it is already mobi convert from mobi to mobi) then resend the book to the Kindle. That is guaranteed to update the metadata.
