Anyone here from around Toronto (GTA)?
Hi all,
I'm a long time lurker, neophyte member, and virgin poster. Created an account since I have a pair of Alurtek Color Libre Multimedias (bought 3 to get a good sale price ![]() I'm using an Aluratek Libre Pro at the moment as my main reader. It's simple, portable, and gets the job done with no frills. Still in the market for a high portability color reader for comics though. Can't comfortably fit the Libre Color into my jeans. Been looking at the Micro Velocity Cruz, anyone have any experience with one for comics? Also how many people here live in the GTA? |

Good to have your company, Binky. I just greeted another newcomer at MR from Toronto a few moments ago. Best wishes. Neil

Hello, and welcome to MR! There are quite a few people from the GTA here. Me, for one (don't live there currently, though)!

Nice! Thanks for the warm welcome all. I been on a number of forums and this seems to be the one of the friendliest and most helpful ones.
GA Russell, I don't know much about the CFL, and most people I know are Rough Riders or Eskimo fans. I did met Pinball Clemens once and Damon Allen. Clemens was just amazing, guy never stopped smiling the whole time and just warm and approachable. Allen was more cool and aloof but not unfriendly. I got my first mobile reader, an Aluratek Libre Pro, last year because of all the positive eReader experiences and reviews I read here. I still love paper bound books, but I love having a device that's portable with thousands of books on it. Already read about 11 more books that I would have otherwise in 5 months =). |

Congrats binky! I'd love to meet Pinball Clemons. Damon Allen and Reggie Pleasant came to my Grey Cup party in 1995!

Welcome to MR from the Netherlands. Did you notice our WIKI (top of the page) for good info?

I did notice the wiki. I have a love hate relationship with wikis. I love the access to information at the fingertips it gives, but at the same time I hate the amount of time I lose when I get sucked into a wiki link click chain. "OH this is interesting, I'll just quickly link to it...oooh there's another interesting piece of information..." Then I roll into work with 2 hours of sleep and bloodshot eyes.

That must have been a fun party =). If I'm ever in Raleigh I'll have to look you up. I still haven't fully gotten over that 2006 heart break though, if only Roloson handn't blown his knee out it, le sigh.
