Japanese Firmware
The Sony Reader series was just recently released in Japan, so is there anyway to install that Japanese firmware onto an American model of the PRS 350?

You just need to modify the fonts' file.

Use the ebook_msc and some tools can unzip the cramfs files.

I uploaded the firmware of japan's prs-350.

But I'm not sure it will work on the US's 350.

Japanese one has support for XMDF (with and without DRM), EPUB, PDF, LRF, and TXT (no DRM). UI languages are Japanese and English. Has E-E and E-J dictionaries.
International firmware supports EPUB, PDF (DRM and no DRM), LRF, RTF, TXT (no DRM). Seven UI languages, 12 dictionaries.
I think that about covers it.
