Hi everyone -

The folks at Kaplan Publishing have done it again! They have extended their free eBook promotion to January 17th, and they have now added free eBooks for Kindle! Here's the link on Amazon below.

I think there are only 130 at that listing (but there are 131 free from Kaplan). I did a rough count, but I'm too lazy to compare them side by side.

I didn't want to wait so I grabbed a bunch on B&N almost as soon as they went online, but unless my memory is failing, it looks like there might be some freebies at Amazon that weren't available on B&N. I just looked and saw at least three that I'm certain I would have downloaded if I'd seen them on B&N. Of course, the B&N site was "in flux" quite a bit the first 24 hours of the offer, so they might have shown up later. It's worth going through them all again just to make sure I don't miss anything I want. Thanks Drew!

Some of those titles are really cool! I heard "Unbillable Hours" and "Angel of Death Row" are very readable. Lot's of test-prep for students studying for standardized exams too.

When i went to Amazon to get those books it turned out i could not have them because i live in Europe. I quickly added a US based address to my account and change my Kindle settings to that address. That way i could download 7 out of 8 books i found interesting, before Amazon's AI caught up with my trickery. Unfortunately, the last book, the one i did not get, is the one i should have gotten in the first place: "The Cleveland Clinic Guide to Sleep Disorders"

Could anyone from US, please, get it and forward it to me? Or am i stepping out of line here?

well, free (as in free beer) does not necessarily mean DRM-free. I'd say someone else's file would not work on your device.
