Scheduling periodical downloads question
Currently with Calibre, to automatically download scheduled new editions, Calibre states that it must continue running all the time. Does this mean that my computer must also be running continuously (i.e. no hibernation nor sleep modes)?
I would rather not have to do that in order to save energy and to extend my laptop's lifetime. If so, in a future version of Calibre, would it be possible when the computer is restarted and then Calibre is started up, to have Calibre check the computer date/time and compare it with the list of scheduled download date/times and take the appropriate download action where necessary? daqddyo1 |

as long as calibre is running close to the scheduled time, it will work fine.
