Hi I just got an ereader for christmas and I previously owned a nook, is there anyway I can read my nook books on my sony ereader??

Hi PaigeP and welcome to MobileRead. The Nook and Sony format are the same (ePub) so I assume you should be able to read your Nook eBooks on the Sony. If you don't get an answer here, try posting your question in the Sony section

I suspect DRM is the culprit ... you have your books 'registered' with the Nook.
