Hi gang,

My name is Russ and I'm in Houston, TX. My lovely wife gave me a nook Color for Christmas so I'm jumping into the fray. She's had a Kindle for a year or more and really loves it. I read more magazines, so I wanted something with color, so the nook Color seemed to fill that need. I'm also a geek, so I'll probably root my nook at some point in the future and unlock it's full Android potential. For now, I want to learn all I can about the nook and how it operates in the B&N environment.

Anyhoo....thanks for the forum. Hope to learn more here, and eventually be able to contribute.
