Hello from a visually impaired geek
Hello everyone. I found this forum via a Google search. I am legally blind (visually impaired) and was born this way. I am also a Linux user and a bit of a geek but certainly not a pro. I bought my wife an Amazon Kindle 3 for Christmas and she loves it. I am thinking about getting myself an ereader but not sure what to get. I will make a post about that as well.

Welcome s1mp13m4n, and may you find just what you are looking for! Many Amazon books are available in audio format, but I would guess you know that. Also you would know that one can zoom in on text on most of the ereaders. Kindle 3 is great for that!
