My name is markjoseph, I'm a writer just publishing a first novel. It's called "The Word Gang" and it's the story of 3 kids in school who start using big words to be disruptive. Now I'm doing e-book versions, just trying to get my epub version checked and ready to go. I've got plenty of questions, some already asked and answered. Welcome, markjoseph. There's a forum on here specifically for writers, and another (self-promotions) for authors to advertise their books. Definitely check those out! Welcome to MR!

My suggestions would be to run around the internet to forums such as this one and post news about your book in the writers' corner of forums like this one. But don't stop there seek out a lot of forums and start talking about your book. As for me this is the wrong type of book, I am into thrillers, but that's just me. Can your web site sell the ebook? Does it sell in epub format? I would also recommend giving away free the first two or three pages to get potential customers hooked then charge for the remainder. For my part I like this sort of arrangement because I get to see if I like your writing style without paying out anything. I don't mind at all paying for the book if I like your writing style.

Hi Mark, welcome the MR boards. Yep, the learning never stops, but the good news is there's lots of authors who around. I'd begin by following the good advice up posts.
