Hello! New Kindle owner as of yesterday
Hi there!SWMBO splashed out and got me a kindle yesterday. She was sick of hearing me rambling on about ereaders. I had originally wanted a que pro reader but the iPad saw that never made it to market. I'll mainly use the kindle for reading technical books and pdfs. I am in telecoms and have loads of materials to read through amd reference on a regular basis. Will probably spend the next few days investigating the best SW for converting pdfs and loading up my new toy. Any suggestions?

Check out http://calibre-ebook.com - sites slow/down at the moment - probably too many new owners out there!
PDF to EPUB is OK for simply formatted PDF files. Has problems with some layouts as I expect most converters would have. You can download the PDF as is but it is much easier to reader in EPUB format IMO. calibre is a great manager too! |
